Neil Greig
 
Neil has worked in motoring Public Affairs in Scotland since 1992 and in the West Midlands throughout the mid 1980s.  He also spent a short time with RoSPA at their Birmingham Head Office as Technical Manager Road Safety.
He has an Honours degree in Goegraphy and an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning.
His current role with the IAM Motoring Trust (since January 1 2007) involves research, media comments, consultations and lobbying the Scottish Parliament and Executive on behalf of motorists in Scotland.  He is also Assistant Director helping to manage the IAM Trust’s actvities and staff at a UK level.
Neil undertook a similar role with the AA Motoring Trust until its demise in December 2006.  He was National Programmes Director for EuroRAP (European Roads Assesement Programmme) coordinating accident risk analysis work in several European countries.
Neil is an advisor to the CBI Scotland Transport Committees and is actively involved with many of the new Regional Transport Partnerships in Scotland. He is a member of the Scottish Safety Camera Programme Advisory Board and maintains a close interest in road safety issues through membership of the Scottish Road Safety Campaign and the Scottish Accident Prevention Council.
