Asset management is becoming increasingly important and requires a range of information. One of the central issues is to understand and measure the existing condition of an asset, e.g., a road or a bridge, how that measurement relates to need and user satisfaction, and how condition can be improved to achieve particular outcomes.
This site offers the opportunity to share views, ideas and experiences in identifying these. It is intended to provide a forum for those practitioners required to carry out work in this area, to exchange experience, promote best practice and raise questions/problems which others within the SIG might be able to help. |
