Please print off and complete the application form(s) and use the checklist below to ensure that you enclose all the necessary documents with your form. We will be unable to process your application without the following information.

• One copy of the completed application form, (Fellow applications must also include the Fellowship Proforma)

• A copy of your current CV

• Copies of educational certificates (validated on the back by one of your sponsors)

• An organisation chart, which should show your current role boxed in and include those responsible to you and the number of personnel in your department

• Details of proposers and seconders

• Subscription fee payment for the first year; or

• A completed direct debit mandate form

Student Membership is free to students studying full-time on a transportation-related course or those on a part-time transportation-related .

If you are applying for free student membership, you can download a Student Guide and application form and make your application by post or you can use our new on-line application facility.  Please note that, if you apply on-line, you must include your proposer’s email address as this will be used to verify your student status.

If you are a part-time student, you will need to download the application form and return it by post with the current fee.
