The Member Services Board is responsible for determining and implementing the Institution's communications strategy; overseeing the general marketing and promotion of member services; and monitoring the work of the Recruitment Panel and Editorial Advisory Group.
The remit of the Member Services Board includes:

To monitor the work of the Editorial Advisory Group regarding the development, quality and finances of the magazine, Transportation professional, and the website.

To monitor publicity and to increase the awareness of IHT to external bodies, and to liaise with Branches regarding communication.

To monitor IHT's range of awards and their promotion.

To oversee the work of the Recruitment Panel regarding membership initiatives and campaigns, and provide advice where necessary.

To develop, monitor and oversee IHT's corporate identity and ensure consistency in all online and printed communications.

To monitor the management and development of the library, and other Endsleigh Street services.

To develop a new range of member services

To monitor and review the implementation of the IS and website strategies.
