Ian Cross is a graduate of the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Leeds. Early years were spent with Consultants Rendel Palmer and Tritton, Contractors Costain and Consultants Mouchel engaged mainly on highway, airport and transport projects. This included periods in Ethiopia and the Falkland Islands. He is former Director of Studies in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Portsmouth where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students.

He is a committee member of the ICE (Southern Association) Transport Group and a past chair. He is a member of the IHT Individual Case Procedure teams and serves on the Academic Standards Panel of IHIE. He is also a member of the Joint Board of Moderators Panel of Moderators.

Marcus works for BAA as Lead Engineer ( Civils and Building ) at Gatwick Airport, recently taking up his post in 2006. Previously, he took a senior management role for Owen Williams consultants in deliverin professional engineering services for a number of clients, primarily Local Government, based in the Sussex area. Prior to that he spent 15 years in Local Government, focussing on Highway, Transportation and Civil Engineering asset improvement and maintenance programmes.

Marcus has been a local committee member for two years and is also a Supervising civil engineer.

Andrew is a Principal Transport Planner for Hampshire County Council. Andrew is based at the County Council's, Environment Department, Hampshire Highways South office at Fareham . Andrew previously worked for Havant Borough Council where he was responsible for transport policy, development control (highway issues) and traffic management.
