Libby has over 16 years experience in the safety engineering, accident investigation and road safety audit fields. With a total of 30 years service, most of which were with County Councils, Libby was 'outsourced' to Thorburn Colquhoun, as they were then, now URS Corporation, in 1997. Kate has been a member of the Branch Committee since 1994, serving as Chairman and Programme Secretary. She has been a member of the Member Services Board and the Editorial Advisory Group, and became a member of Council, and of the Network and Infrastructure Management Board, in 2005.
