Gordon Baker

Alison is a Regional Director of Faber Maunsell and has been working in the field of transport planning for seventeen years.
She has worked on a wide variety of projects over this period including the traffic modelling and economic assessment of major highway schemes in Scotland, England and Ireland as well as the more exotic locations of New Delhi and Manila.
Since moving to Faber Maunsell she has specialised on development planning projects in Scotland. Projects have included major residential developments, numerous superstores, leisure, education and health proposals. Her work on the redevelopment and expansion proposals for three major shopping centres has allowed her to combine her work with one of her favourite pastimes - shopping. She is currently working on some major sports stadia developments including the National Indoor Sports Arena and Velodrome in the East End of Glasgow, and is keenly awaiting the decision of the Commonwealth Games Committee in November.

Zoe is managing director of Jarvis King Associates - a specialist Headhunting & Recruitment business operating within the UK Construction / Engineering industry. Zoe has been working within the Engineering sector specifically for the past 11 years has a large network of people within the UK's Highways and Transportation market especially.

Graeme Smith

Graeme is a Chartered Engineering with 15 years of experience in the highways and bridges sector.

He is a Technical Director with W A Fairhurst & Partners in their Dundee Office having reached this position in 1999 following 11 years with the firm in numerous positions throughout Scotland.

His major projects have included the Elvanfoot – Paddy’s Rickle Section of the upgrading of the A74 to full dual 3 lane motorway standard in Scotland and the recent strengthening of the Forth Road Bridge Towers.
