Mike Slinn MA MS FIHT MICE CEng President 2007-2008

Mike is Transport Consultancy Director at MVA who he joined in 1990. His main responsibilities are for traffic engineering and planning and for intelligent transport systems including development impact studies, bus and LRT priority, road safety, signal control, traffic management, traffic calming and incident detection/transport information.

He started his career on a Scott Wilson graduate training scheme. Mike has been on IHT's Greater London Branch Committee for 13 years, serving as Secretary and then as Chair between 1999 and 2001. He was a member of IHT's Transport Policy Board for six years and Chair for two of those years.

Mike has five children and lives in Winchester.
